Some greedy, brokers and evil circles of the Land Office spread such news about “accepting government expenses” on some online and multimedia media on May 13, 2026, regarding a fictitious defamation lawsuit against Land Officer Rabeya Khatun, giving false information. Which is to discredit an honest and ideal land officer without any evidence.
It is known on the spot that some brokers of the Land Office of West Char Umed Union, unable to take advantage of it, made journalists spread these news against Land Officer Rabeya Khatun by giving false information to journalists, thereby damaging her social status.
Land Officer Rabeya Khatun said, the information presented in the published news involving me is completely false, baseless, purposeful and defamatory. In fact, the activities related to name-dropping are carried out as per the government-determined fees and rules. I am not involved in any kind of irregularities, excess money collection or illegal transactions.
A group has published the news with misleading information with the aim of achieving personal interests and socially degrading. I strongly condemn and protest the said news and call on the concerned media to verify the correct information and publish responsible news.
